Your Next Teaching Role - Year 1, Greenford

Start: Summer Term 2026 | Contract: Long-Term | Full-Time

The previous teacher has gone on Maternity and the school is keen to find someone who can step in with confidence, energy, and passion, continuing the excellent work already in place.

The Role You Will Play

  • Lead a Year 1 class from day one
  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils' learning in phonics, early writing, and maths
  • Work with a TA to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, are supported
  • Engage with parents to celebrate successes and address challenges
  • Maintain classroom routines and a positive, productive learning environment

Who We Are Looking For

  • UK QTS holders with KS1 experience, ideally Year 1
  • Confident in phonics delivery, literacy, and maths
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation
  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to pupils' progress
  • Experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome
