Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Enfield, North London
Pay Rate: £95 - £115

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield to recruit a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from after the Easter holidays.

The ARP is a specialist provision within a mainstream primary school, designed to support pupils with identified Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The provision caters for children with needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties, while promoting inclusion into mainstream lessons where appropriate.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone experienced in primary SEND who is passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structured 1:1 and small-group support within the ARP

  • Support pupils with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

  • Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies

  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

  • Support integration into mainstream classes where appropriate

  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting

  • Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated learning

  • Patient, nurturing and consistent approach

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Available full time from after Easter
