Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a secondary school in Kettering that is looking to appoint a motivated IT Teacher to join their team from April or September 2026. This full-time role is initially offered on a long-term supply basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.

This school offers a supportive and inclusive learning environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure students are engaged, challenged, and supported to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging IT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching depending on experience
* Teach key areas such as digital literacy, IT systems, data handling, and introductory programming
* Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills when using technology
* Use a variety of digital tools and resources to support effective teaching and learning
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development
* Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a structured and engaging IT curriculum
* Support extracurricular opportunities such as coding clubs, STEM initiatives, or technology-based projects

The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Strong understanding of the IT curriculum and enthusiasm for digital learning
* Ability to deliver inclusive lessons that support learners of different abilities
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a department
