Behaviour Manager - Secondary Schools (Lewisham) - Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Manager to work full-time across welcoming and well-supported secondary schools in Lewisham. The Role

As a Behaviour Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the school's behaviour strategy and ensuring students are able to engage positively with their learning. You will work closely with senior leadership, pastoral teams, and teaching staff to support students with behavioural challenges and help maintain a calm and focused school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of the school's behaviour policies and procedures

  • Managing behaviour across the school and responding effectively to incidents

  • Working closely with students who require additional behavioural support

  • Building strong, positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and accountability

  • Liaising with teachers, pastoral staff, and senior leadership to support behaviour strategies

  • Monitoring behaviour trends and contributing to intervention plans where necessary

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a Behaviour Manager or similar behaviour support role within a secondary school

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of behaviour management strategies

  • Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • A degree is preferred, though not essential with substantial relevant experience

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and improving outcomes
