Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant (Salford)

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive primary school?

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford after the Easter break. This is a full-time, long-term role for a full calender year, offering stability and the chance to make a real impact in early education.

The Role

  • Supporting children within EYFS (Reception/Nursery)

  • Delivering small group interventions, including phonics and early literacy

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning, observations and assessments

  • Providing 1:1 support where required, including SEN pupils

  • Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

  • Has recent experience working within an EYFS setting

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Confident supporting phonics and early development

  • Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
