Science Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons across Key Stages 3-5. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure that laboratories are well-prepared, safe, and fully equipped to facilitate high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments
Maintain and organise laboratory stock, chemicals, and resources
Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Provide technical support to teaching staff during lessons where required
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the science department
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a school setting
Strong subject knowledge across one or more science disciplines
A degree in a science-related field is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and flexible approach to work
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a laboratory environment
