Year 5 Teacher - Tower Hamlets (Maternity Cover)

📍 Location: Tower Hamlets, London

📅 Start Date: April 2026 - Summer Term

💷 Daily Rate: £226 - £268 (MPS3-MPS6, paid to scale)

⏰ Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover (Summer Term)

SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established 3-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced Year 5 Teacher for a maternity cover role starting in April 2026.

🌟 The Role

Full responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning, teaching, and assessment

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Work collaboratively with parallel teachers across the year group

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

✨ Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Upper KS2)

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A committed and proactive approach to teaching and learning

Please note: This role is open to experienced teachers only (MPS3-MPS6). ECTs/NQTs will not be considered for this position.
