We are seeking a skilled, organised, and enthusiastic Art & Design Technology Technician to join our vibrant secondary school in Redbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to support a creative and forward-thinking department, helping to inspire students and bring their ideas to life.

About the Role

As an Art & DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality lessons across Art, Design, and Technology. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
• Support practical sessions in Art and DT workshops
• Maintain and service tools, machinery, and classroom resources
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist with displays of student work and exhibitions
• Manage stock levels and order supplies where necessary

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working in an Art, Design, or workshop environment (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
• Is practical, creative, and highly organised
• Has a good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Is committed to supporting students' creativity and learning
