Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
Direct and produce school plays, performances, and extracurricular drama activities
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
Maintain strong classroom management and ensure a safe learning space
Requirements
Degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in drama and theatre
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable Skills
Experience directing school productions or theatre projects
Ability to contribute to wider school activities and clubs
Passion for student development and the performing arts
