Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing Opportunities
Contract: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant with strong subject knowledge in core areas such as English, Maths, or Science? We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic LSA to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Lewisham.

The Role:
Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in core subjects (English, Maths, or Science)
Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support both in and out of the classroom
Providing targeted interventions and 1:1 or small group support
Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring inclusive learning
Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and academic progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school
Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject (English, Maths, or Science)
A good understanding of SEN, including strategies to support diverse learning needs
A degree (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting learning
