Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, supply basis across a trusted network of schools in the Chesterfield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, support workers, or individuals looking to build a career in education while enjoying the flexibility that supply work offers.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to support learning and development
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Help manage behaviour positively and effectively
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school or other settings)
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different school settings
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
