Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) - SEN Specialist (Autism Focus)
Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire
Start Date: 13th April 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Primary Teacher to join a highly supportive SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This well-resourced and nurturing environment specialises in supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly Autism, and is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

Starting on 13th April 2026, this role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with a strong potential to become permanent following a successful first term.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Have experience within Primary, EYFS, or SEN settings
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Autism and effective support strategies
  • Be confident in managing behaviour and creating structured learning environments
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Be reflective, resilient, and a strong team player

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3-6, adapting learning to meet a range of needs
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for pupils with Autism
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent and high-quality support
  • Monitor pupil progress and set personalised, achievable targets
  • Contribute to the wider school community and development of SEN provision
