The Role

As a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engaging science lessons. You will be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring practical activities are carried out safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and organise materials and equipment for practical science lessons
* Support teaching staff during lessons and experiments
* Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety regulations
* Assist with demonstrations and practical investigations
* Monitor stock levels and order supplies when required
* Support students in using equipment safely and confidently

Requirements:

* Essential: Previous experience working in a UK secondary school science lab
* Good understanding of laboratory equipment and safety procedures
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A proactive, dependable, and supportive approach
* A genuine interest in supporting science education
