Reception Class Teacher

A welcoming and well-organised 2-form entry primary school in Southall is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team as soon as possible on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a Reception class
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support early development in phonics, communication, and early maths
  • Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver high-quality provision
  • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • UK QTS
  • Strong experience within EYFS / Reception
  • Confidence delivering phonics and early learning
  • Good classroom and behaviour management
  • A nurturing and proactive teaching approach
  • Commitment to a full-time, long-term role

This role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher or a confident practitioner ready to take on a Reception class.
