HR Officer - Secondary Schools (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join a thriving network of secondary schools across Bromley. This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position, ideal for a professional who is passionate about people, processes, and making a meaningful impact within an educational environment.

About the Role
As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and effective management of human resources across the school. You will work closely with senior leadership and administrative teams, ensuring that HR operations run efficiently and in line with current legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
  • Support employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance at all times
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in an HR role, ideally within an educational setting
  • Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment law
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • A degree in HR or a related field is preferred
