A supportive primary school in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This rewarding full-time role starts immediately and offers consistent work during school term times.

Key Responsibilities for an 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide 1:1 classroom support to a pupil with SEN
• Follow and implement tailored learning plans
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents
• Help build confidence, routine, and emotional wellbeing
• Promote an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (SEN experience is a bonus)
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Reliable and committed to full-time, term-time hours
