What's the gig?
You'll be the go-to person when teachers are away, leading classes using pre-set work and keeping students focused, engaged, and (mostly!) on their best behaviour. Think of yourself as the calm, capable captain steering the classroom ship for the day

We've got it all: day-to-day bookings, short-term placements, and longer-term roles - you choose what works for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering ready-made lesson plans (no late-night planning required!)
  • Keeping classrooms running smoothly and students on track
  • Managing behaviour with confidence and a sense of humour
  • Supporting students and encouraging positive learning
  • Feeding back to teaching staff at the end of the day
  • Jumping into different schools and making a great impression

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with young people (schools, sports coaching, youth groups - it all counts!)
  • Confidence to lead a classroom and think on your feet
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • A flexible, can-do approach
  • Interest in education (perfect if you're considering teaching!)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or happy to get one sorted)
