School Caretaker - Full-Time | Start Immediately

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: £26,000 - £31,200 per year (£100-£120 per day, PAYE + pension)
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays + paid Christmas closure

This is a key role at the heart of the school. You'll take real ownership of the site, play a vital part in keeping everything running smoothly, and become a valued member of a supportive, close-knit team. There's also a strong opportunity for this position to transition into a permanent role next academic year.

Please note: A full driving licence is essential due to split shifts and occasional travel to the St Albans site.

Your Key Responsibilities...

  • Open the school site from 7:30am and secure it at the end of the day
  • Ensure site safety, security, and general maintenance
  • Carry out basic repairs and day-to-day upkeep
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Support health & safety compliance checks
  • Travel occasionally to support the St Albans site
