ECT Pool - Primary Teachers | Blackburn with Darwen & East Lancashire
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience across a range of schools? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable ECTs to join our growing pool, supporting primary schools across Blackburn with Darwen and the wider East Lancashire area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, broaden your experience across different year groups, and develop strong relationships with local schools-opening doors to long-term and permanent roles.
The Role
As part of our ECT pool, you will work across multiple primary schools, providing cover for PPA, staff sickness, and short-term absences.
Location: Blackburn with Darwen & East Lancashire
Start Date: Ongoing opportunities available
Position: Primary ECT (Supply)
Contract: Flexible (1-5 days per week)
Pay: £120 - £140 per day (dependent on planning and travel)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons to maintain continuity of learning.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school expectations.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally.
Support pupils' learning and wellbeing across a range of settings.
Uphold safeguarding standards and school policies at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Be flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about working in different schools.
Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
Be committed to making a positive impact on pupils' learning.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
