Job Description
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Salford area to recruit a full-time RE Teacher for a September start, covering a maternity leave for the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school with a strong community ethos and a focus on student development both academically and personally. The school has a well-established Humanities department and a collaborative staff culture, making it an excellent environment for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
The role will primarily involve teaching Religious Education across KS3, alongside some general cover to support the wider school timetable.
The Role:
- Full-time RE Teacher
* September start (maternity cover)
* Until end of academic year
* Salford secondary school
* Majority KS3 RE timetable
* Some general cover across subjects
* Supportive leadership and strong department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching RE in a secondary setting
* Confident delivering engaging lessons at KS3
* Flexible and adaptable to support general cover where required
* Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
