Graduate English Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Islington
Start: September 2025 | Full-time | Term-time | £95-£110 per day
Are you an English graduate looking to gain classroom experience before teacher training?
A high-achieving secondary school in Islington is looking for a Graduate English TA to support students across KS3 and KS4. This is an excellent opportunity to build classroom confidence while helping students improve literacy, reading comprehension and written communication.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting students in English lessons
- Delivering small group literacy interventions
- Helping students prepare for GCSEs
- Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning
What they're looking for:
- English or Humanities graduate preferred
- Passion for education and literacy
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Positive and proactive approach
