SEND Teaching Assistant - Enfield

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact in education and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
  • Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
