Graduate Trainee Teacher

With permanent contracts available following a short qualifying period, various routes into Teacher Training and stacks of support from day one, this is a school with a great track record of support graduates and trainee Teachers as they venture into a career within Education.

As a Trainee Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting classes, working alongside pupils with mild SEN requirements ensuring that students are engaged, on task and focused. This school is centrally based in Welwyn Garden City, offers parking and a host of other staff benefits available to all.

Key requirements for this role include a positive attitude and approach to supporting young people, relevant A levels and GCSE's. Experience working with children or young people is preferred but not essential as we can provide full training. It is important that you have the personality to deliver strong communication to students and offer good classroom management skills. We can offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, as well as opportunities for professional development.

Pay is weekly and starts at £95 p/day. The school offer permanent contracts to 85% of the staff (based on the last 3 years) and will be hosting interview days this term. All roles are full time between the hours of 8.30am-3.30pm. You will require to be fully vetted, and we will need to apply for an enhanced child workforce DBS on your behalf.
