Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher on behalf of this Client, a successful and inclusive all-through academy based in Newham. This is a full-time opportunity starting in September on a fixed term contract for 1 full academic year.

This Client is seeking a passionate Science Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach a Science specialism at Key Stage 5 considered advantageous. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring and assessing student progress, supporting pupils of varying abilities, and contributing positively to the wider Science department. You will be expected to inspire curiosity, promote a love of Science, and create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification alongside a degree in Science or a related subject. This Client is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to teaching, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Salary for this role will be paid in line with the London MPS/UPS pay scale. Interviews are to be arranged immediately.
