The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support students across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key role in helping students engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students during engaging classroom lessons across a range of subjects
• Working one-to-one and in small groups to boost confidence, attainment, and participation
• Assisting students with classwork, revision sessions, and exam preparation
• Encouraging positive learning behaviours and classroom engagement
• Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom activities
• Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
• Gaining invaluable school-based experience ahead of teacher training

You should have:

• A degree in any subject
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to education

• Previous experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or school experience) is desirable but not essential
