Job Description
Key stage 2 teacher - Lambeth
Are you a Primary Teacher looking to start the new academic year in a role where you can truly settle, grow, and make a lasting difference?
Sanza is working with an outstanding primary school in Lambeth who are seeking a committed Key stage 2 teacher for a full time, long term role starting in September.
The role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across all KS2 National Curriculum subjects, ensuring appropriate stretch and challenge for all ability groups
- Monitor and assess pupil progress through regular marking, feedback, and data analysis, using findings to adapt teaching and close attainment gaps
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture that promotes independence, resilience, and a growth mindset in every learner
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with parents and carers through parents' evenings, reports, and ongoing communication about pupil progress
- Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the SENDCo to deliver inclusive provision and support children with additional or complex needs
- Actively contribute to school improvement by participating in CPD, curriculum planning, peer observations, and wider school initiatives
Why Sanza?
- Its free! - We work on your behalf to find the right school, handle the admin, and negotiate your pay all at no cost to you
- Access to roles you won't find elsewhere - Many of the schools we work with recruit exclusively through us, meaning you get access to opportunities that simply aren't advertised publicly
- A consultant in your corner - Unlike applying direct, you have an experienced consultant advocating for you, preparing you for the role, and ensuring you're set up to succeed from day one
- Honest, informed guidance - We know our schools inside out. We'll give you a genuine picture of the culture, leadership, and expectations before you commit to anything
- Pay that's negotiated for you - We push to get you the best possible rate for your experience and the role, without you having to have that conversation yourself
- A long-term relationship, not a quick placement - We invest in understanding your career goals so that every role we put you forward for is a step in the right direction, not just a gap-fill
What you'll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching at Key stage 2 level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The drive and commitment to thrive in a long-term or permanent role
- A positive, proactive, and professional approach
