Food Technology Teacher - Wigan

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in the Wigan area for a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to start in September. This is a full-time supply position expected to continue for at least one term, with the potential to be extended beyond this.

The role:

  • Teaching Food Studies at Key Stage 3
  • Delivering Food Preparation and Nutrition at Key Stage 4
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
  • Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Supporting students to make strong progress in both skills and subject knowledge

This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher with experience of teaching Food Technology or Food-related subjects across secondary age ranges. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, maintain high standards in the classroom and contribute positively to a collaborative department.

Pay: Up to £232.56 per day
