Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher to work in a successful Wigan secondary school from June 2026 until the end of the academic year.
This exciting opportunity is perfect for a passionate Computer Science specialist who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while inspiring students to develop digital and computing skills.
The Role:
- Computer Science Teacher
- June 2026 start
- Full-time role until July 2026
- Key Stages 3 and 4
- Wigan secondary school
- Pay from £168.80 to £232.56 per day
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science and ICT lessons
- Plan and assess engaging learning activities
- Support student achievement and progression
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to departmental success and school life
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science in secondary education
- Strong subject knowledge in computing and ICT
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
