A well-regarded 2-form entry Catholic primary school in Chiswick is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 for the full academic year.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for a KS1 class from September 2026
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support pupils' progress across reading, writing and mathematics
  • Deliver effective phonics teaching and assessment
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
  • Work collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and wider KS1 team
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

The school is looking for a teacher who can combine strong classroom practice with a positive and nurturing approach.

Person Specification

Applications are welcomed from teachers who:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in KS1 or strong KS1 teaching placements
  • Have a secure understanding of phonics and early reading
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Are organised, reliable and reflective practitioners
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Are committed to ensuring all pupils make strong progress

Salary

M1 to UPS3 depending on experience and suitability for the role.
