Year 2 Class Teacher
Start: September - October (Full-time, with potential to extend)
Where: South Manchester
A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in South Manchester is seeking to appoint a Year 2 Class Teacher from September through to October, with the strong potential for the role to continue on a longer-term basis.

The Role:
You will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils as they progress through Key Stage 1 and prepare for transition into Key Stage 2. The role includes establishing strong routines, building positive relationships, and ensuring all pupils remain motivated and make good progress.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, particularly phonics and early reading
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Be committed to inclusive and child-centred teaching practices
* Be proactive, reflective, and keen to develop professionally
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
