A highly regarded primary school in St Albans is looking to secure an outstanding Year 1 (KS1) Teacher for a maternity cover position starting on 29th June 2026.

Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, the school is able to offer immediate paid trial days to suitable teachers who hold a current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Successful candidates could be in school and meeting the team within days of applying.

The Role

You will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that help pupils build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential. You will join an experienced and collaborative staff team that is committed to ensuring every child receives an exceptional educational experience.
