What You'll Be Doing:

  • Transformational 1:1 Support: Work closely with individual secondary-aged students who thrive outside the traditional classroom box.

  • Active Learning: Utilise outdoor education, bushcraft, sports, and practical hands-on activities as tools to build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

  • Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, helping students overcome barriers to learning and manage their behaviour effectively.

What We Are Looking For:

  • The Right Attitude Over Pieces of Paper: We welcome applications from both Qualified and Unqualified individuals. Your ability to connect with young people is what matters most.

  • An "Outdoor Person": Experience in outdoor education, forest schools, sports coaching, youth work, or military/scout leadership is highly desirable.

  • Secondary Sector Savvy: Experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly those with additional needs or challenging behaviours, is a massive plus.

  • Resilience & Empathy: A calm under pressure, adaptable nature, and a genuine desire to make a difference in a 1:1 capacity.

Why Choose This Role?
