Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Maternity Cover (Initially for One Full Term with Potential to Extend)
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Brackley that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time maternity cover basis.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils within the classroom, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences

  • Deliver targeted interventions on a one-to-one and small-group basis, particularly in Phonics and Maths

  • Support pupils' personal, social, and emotional development

  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and administrative tasks

  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and active participation in learning

  • Support teachers in monitoring pupil progress and sharing relevant information

  • Help ensure pupils' safety, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times

  • Supervise pupils during breaktimes, educational visits, and wider school activities when required

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
