Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brackley that is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As an SEN Support Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the school
Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement individual learning plans and support strategies
Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions to support academic progress and personal development
Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual pupil requirements
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant staff
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all pupils
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external professionals where appropriate
Contribute to the wider life of the school community
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children with SEND within a school or educational setting
Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Demonstrates patience, empathy, resilience, and a caring approach
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
Can adapt effectively to meet the varying needs of individual pupils
Has good literacy and numeracy skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Holds relevant Teaching Assistant or SEND qualifications (desirable but not essential)
