Maths Teacher
A large and successful secondary school in West London is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September through to December on a long-term agency contract. This is a full-time position, although part-time applicants may also be considered. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary will be paid in line with outer London MPS/UPS scale, depending on experience.
Maths Teacher - West London
- Deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and proficiency in mathematical concepts.
- Inspire students to achieve their full potential by using a variety of teaching strategies that support different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor, assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continued academic development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Qualifications and Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and engage students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, approachable and proactive attitude
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
Salary Information
M1 - M6 salaries are aligned to experience within the Main Pay Range. Teachers typically progress annually from M1 through to M6. UPS appointments require a formal application process.
