Supply Teacher - Blackburn & East Lancashire

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary schools throughout Blackburn and East Lancashire (BB1-BB10).

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexibility, varied classroom experience, and the chance to work across different year groups. We are particularly keen to hear from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to build their confidence, gain valuable experience in a range of school settings, and strengthen their CV before securing a permanent teaching position.

The Role:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Working on a day-to-day, short-term, or long-term supply basis
  • Adapting quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining high standards of learning
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is flexible and open to teaching across different year groups
  • Has access to reliable transport and is able to travel throughout the BB1-BB10 area
  • Has strong classroom management skills
  • Is confident, adaptable, and professional
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
