SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools in Southport and Crosby
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students within secondary schools across Southport, Crosby and Liverpool.
This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who have additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you may support students with:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Moderate learning difficulties
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Demonstrate patience, empathy and resilience
- Be committed to supporting inclusive education
- Work effectively as part of a school support team

Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A full career history
- At least two professional references, including your most recent placement
- The legal right to work in the UK
