Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH provision in Milton Keynes to recruit an experienced and dedicated Maths Teacher for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support to achieve their full potential.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with a wide range of academic abilities. The school provides a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where relationship building is at the heart of everything they do. As part of a supportive and experienced team, you will work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and senior leaders to create positive learning experiences and help pupils overcome barriers to education.

The successful candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of learners with social, emotional and mental health needs. Strong behaviour management skills, resilience and the ability to build trusting relationships are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within an SEMH, specialist or alternative provision setting.
• A trauma-informed, nurturing and compassionate approach to teaching.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate, engage and inspire pupils with a range of learning needs.
