Primary Model Practitioner - SEMH School | Immediate Start | Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dedicated Primary Model Practitioner to join a specialist SEMH school in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering a primary-style curriculum to older pupils and wants to play a key role in transforming the educational experiences of young people.

Working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, you will deliver a broad, engaging and highly differentiated curriculum using a primary teaching model. The role focuses on supporting pupils who benefit from smaller class sizes, consistent routines and a nurturing approach to learning. You will create an inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to succeed while working collaboratively with pastoral teams and support staff to meet each learner's individual needs.

The school places a strong emphasis on restorative practice, relationship building and trauma-informed education. As such, you will be someone who is patient, resilient and committed to helping pupils develop both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an SEMH, specialist or alternative provision environment.
  • A calm, flexible and compassionate approach to supporting young people.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

In return, you'll receive competitive rates of pay, ongoing support from your dedicated Tradewind Recruitment consultant and the opportunity to work within a specialist setting that is committed to improving outcomes for every pupil.

If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can positively influence the lives of young people every day, we'd love to hear from you.
