Job Description

We are seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist KS3 SEMH provision in Speke. This rewarding role involves supporting students aged 11-13 with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them engage in learning and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Supporting students aged 14-16 within the classroom and around the school.
  • Building strong relationships and promoting positive behaviour.
  • Assisting with learning activities and engagement.
  • Supporting students with emotional regulation and social development.
  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide consistent support.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people and be confident managing challenging behaviour. A background in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, care or education would be highly advantageous.

We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships, remain calm under pressure, act as a positive role model and is willing to get fully involved in school life.
