Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive community one-form-entry primary school based in the Borough of Lambeth, in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term teaching contract through Tradewind from September.

This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 on a long-term but temporary basis initially, with the future opportunity to be offered a permanent contract based on suitability to the role/school after 1 year.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils through this important stage of Key Stage 2. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure all children are challenged, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Lower KS2
• Be passionate about delivering creative, engaging, and ambitious lessons
• Have excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of learning
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
