Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher looking for your next permanent opportunity?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Salford that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join their successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons that inspire students to explore a range of beliefs, values, and ethical issues.
The Role
- Teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that promote student progress and engagement.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring and assessing student attainment and providing effective feedback.
- Contributing to the wider life of the Humanities department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
