Teaching Assistant (TA) - Secondary School

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated TA to join their SEN department from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role offering an excellent opportunity to make a real impact within a thriving school community.

Working alongside experienced staff, you will support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, helping them access learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 SEN support

Support small group interventions

Assist teachers with classroom preparation and resources

Implement behaviour and engagement strategies

Monitor progress and work closely with the SEN team

Build positive relationships to support confidence and independence

The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will:

Be a recent graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant

Have experience or a strong interest in SEN support

Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills

Be calm, patient, and proactive

Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff
