Are you an experienced school administrator looking for your next opportunity in a thriving secondary school this September?

We are seeking a professional, organised and welcoming Receptionist to join a busy secondary school in Brent for a September start. This is a pivotal front-of-house role, requiring someone who can provide exceptional administrative support while acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff.

Please note: Previous experience working in a UK secondary school and strong working knowledge of Bromcom are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the school's busy reception and providing a professional first point of contact.
  • Handling telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Using Bromcom to maintain accurate student records, attendance and administrative data.
  • Supporting attendance, admissions and general school administration.
  • Producing letters, reports and other documentation.
  • Managing visitor sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols.
  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider school staff.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring GDPR compliance.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a UK secondary school.
  • Strong working knowledge of Bromcom (applications without this experience cannot be considered).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work under pressure.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
