EYFS Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Bolton seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children as they begin their educational journey.

The Role

• Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
• Deliver engaging activities through play-based learning
• Assist with phonics, early reading and number work
• Encourage children's social, emotional and language development
• Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working within EYFS or a nursery setting
• A nurturing and patient approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
