Personal Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team
Fixed Term Contract until July 2027| 40 hours per week | Term Time + 2 weeks | £24k-£26k actual salary | Reports to Head of Prep and Senior Deputy Head | Start: September 2026 |
The Personal Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team is an exciting and demanding full time role. Supporting a team of senior leaders across the organisation requires stamina, skill, sensitivity and a terrific work ethic. Discretion and charm are prerequisites, as is an impressive ability to spin plates and remain unflappable. We seek an outstanding candidate for a richly rewarding role. The PA to the SLT will not support the Principal or the Commercial Director as part of their role.
Key responsibilities
- To coordinate and manage the diaries of SLT members, seeking opportunities to plan time effectively and in accordance with organisational priorities.
- To deal proactively with incoming and outgoing correspondence on behalf of SLT members, including drafting letters and emails, to ensure timely, professional and appropriate responses to all communications.
- To keep abreast of the Prep calendar of events and prepare and distribute weekly notices accordingly.
- To prepare documents for signing, including draft or final letters/emails on behalf of SLT members, ensuring a high standard of quality and delivery within required timescales.
- To undertake initial preparation of materials for presentations, speeches, reports and other documentation required by members of the SLT.
- To maximise the effectiveness of SLT members by reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; and collecting and analysing information.
- Preparing reports by taking the initiative and collecting and analysing information.
- Review actions arising from meetings involving SLT members, proactively ensuring actions are followed up and completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Be responsible for completing assigned projects, developing work plan and keeping these updated to show progress of assigned projects.
- To plan and organise external and internal meetings as required by members of the SLT, making travel arrangements where necessary.
About you
- Relevant educational qualification or willingness to work towards a level 3 qualification.
- Proven ability to prioritise a widerange of administrative tasks while under pressure
- Ability to implement and integrate administrative systems
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent levels of written and verbal communication
