Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Fixed-Term until August 2027
Hours: 20 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year)

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years professional looking to make a real difference in children's lives?

We are seeking a passionate Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing educational setting. Working within a newly established nursery provision, you will play a key role in supporting children during the crucial early stages of their learning journey.

Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help deliver engaging learning activities, prepare resources, support classroom routines, and encourage every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging Early Years learning activities.
  • Assist with observations and assessments to monitor children's progress.
  • Prepare stimulating learning resources and classroom materials.
  • Support children's social, emotional and educational development.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Early Years team.
  • Help create a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Experience working with pre-school or nursery-aged children.
  • A good understanding of child development and Early Years practice.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enthusiastic, positive and nurturing approach.
  • Someone who is friendly, energetic and committed to helping children thrive.
