Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Year 3

Location: PR4
Start Date: September 2026

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the PR4 area for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 class.

This is a part-time, long-term position starting in September 2026, with the following working pattern:

• Monday: Morning
• Tuesday: Full day
• Wednesday: Full day
• Thursday: Morning
• Friday: Morning

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, providing general classroom support, helping pupils to access learning, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Be confident supporting children in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
• Be patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.
• Work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent classroom experience.
