Are you passionate about outdoor learning and helping children thrive both academically and emotionally?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Forest School Lead to take ownership of our established outdoor learning provision from September. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forest School practitioner to make a real difference to children's development, wellbeing, confidence, and engagement in learning.

The Role

Full-Time Position

  • Morning sessions providing pastoral, behavioural, and wellbeing support to pupils.
  • Afternoon sessions leading and developing our Forest School provision.
  • Opportunities to work closely with teaching staff and wider support teams.

Option 2: Part-Time Forest School Lead - PM only

  • Leading Forest School sessions each afternoon, Monday to Friday.
  • Planning and delivering engaging outdoor learning experiences.
  • Promoting confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence through outdoor education.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Forest School qualification, ideally Level 3 Forest School Leader (Level 2 practitioners will also be considered).
  • Has experience delivering high-quality outdoor learning experiences.
  • Is passionate about supporting children's personal development and wellbeing.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Is confident working independently and taking ownership of a Forest School provision.

The following would be advantageous:

  • A teaching qualification.
  • HLTA status or equivalent experience.
  • Experience delivering pastoral support within a school setting.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs or emotional wellbeing needs.
