Music Teacher
A large secondary school based in Ealing, London, is looking for a Music Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract.
The school is seeking someone to start in September, with the role expected to continue on a long-term basis. This position is full-time, although part-time applicants will also be considered. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Salary will be paid in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS pay scale.
On-site parking is available for staff.
Music Teacher - Ealing, Inner London
- Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons that develop students' practical performance, composition, listening, and appraisal skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Support students' musical development by encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression through a broad and inclusive curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE Music, ensuring they are challenged and supported to achieve their full academic and creative potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate and succeed.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through music enrichment opportunities, performances, and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
M1 - M6 salaries are aligned to experience within the Main Pay Range. Teachers typically progress annually from M1 through to M6. UPS appointments require formal application. TLR payments are available for agreed, sustained additional responsibilities outside of regular teaching duties.
